Indeed the tree of Zaqqum, – 43 shall be the food of the sinful. 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 "Verily! This is that whereof you used to doubt!" 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad SAW); Verily, they (too) are waiting. 59
