The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 when they were seated around it 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Aye! it is a Recitation glorious, 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
