The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
