The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 is food for the sinner. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Indeed, for those who feared (Allah) is a secure place 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 (O Prophet), We have made this Book easy in your tongue so that they may take heed. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59
