With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
