The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
