Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the dipersing winds that disperse. 1 Then by oath of those which carry the burdens. 2 and the smooth runners 3 And those that distribute and apportion by Command;- 4 What you are threatened with is most surely true, 5 The Judgement will indeed take place. 6 By the Sky with (its) numerous Paths, 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 and are turned away from him who is turned. 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 Those who have forgotten in a state of intoxication. 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 On the Day of Judgment they will be punished by the fire 13 (and be told): “Taste your ordeal! This is what you were seeking to hasten.” 14 Surely the God-fearing will find themselves in the midst of gardens and springs. 15 Accepting the rewards given by their Lord; they were indeed virtuous before this. 16 sleeping little in the night-time, 17 and in the mornings they would ask for forgiveness; 18 And in their property was a portion due to him who begs and to him who is denied (good). 19 There are signs in the earth for those who are firm in their faith, 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and that which ye are promised. 22 And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth! it is most surely the truth, just as you do speak. 23
