The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
