Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 On a Straight Way. 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
