The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
