Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
