The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
