Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains: 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 We shall remove all hatred from their breasts and make them as brothers reclining on thrones facing one another. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They replied, "Do not be afraid. We have brought you the glad news of (the birth) of a learned son". 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 Abraham said: "Who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except the misguided?" 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
