Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 And make my affair easy to me, 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 By him confirm my strength 31 and let him share my task 32 “In order that we may profusely proclaim Your Purity.” 33 and remember you often. 34 "For Thou art He that (ever) regardeth us." 35 He answered: "Granted is your prayer, O Moses. 36 "And indeed, We bestowed Our favour upon thee at a time long since past, 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 when thy sister went out, saying, "Shall I point you to one to have charge of him?" So We returned thee to thy mother that she might rejoice, and not sorrow. Then thou slewest; a living soul, and We delivered thee out of grief, and We tried thee with many trials. Many years among the people of Midian thou didst sojourn, then camest hither, Moses, according to a decree. 40 I chose you for Myself. 41 "Go with your brother. Take My miracles and do not be reluctant in preaching My message. 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He said; fear not; verily I shall be with you twain: I shall hear and see. 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 "'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" 48 Pharaoh said, "Who then is the Lord of you both, Moses?" 49 Musa said: our Lord is He who vouchsafed unto everything its creation, then guided it. 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Eat, [then, of this produce of the soil,] and pasture your cattle [thereon].
