The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
