The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
