And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 When the two (angels) who keep the account, one sitting on the right, one on the left, take it down, 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: this is that which thou hast been shunning. 19 And the trumpet will be blown: this is the Day of the Threatening. 20 And every soul shall come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 Assuredly thou wast in neglect thereof; now We have removed from off thee thy veil, so thy sight Today is piercing. 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 The command was given: “Cast into Hell every hardened, stubborn unbeliever, 24 “The one who excessively prevented from virtue, the transgressor, the doubtful.” 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand: 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
