Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62
