The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
