No! I swear by that you see 38 And what you do not see, 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
