Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7

And whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful - We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion. 36 And verily they hinder them from the way, whilst they deem that they are rightly guided. 37 Until when he comes before Us he will say (to the devil): "Would to God there was a distance of the East and West between you and me, for you were an evil companion!" 38 It will be said [to such a person], "You have done wrong. Having partners in punishment will be of no avail to you today." 39 What, shalt thou make the deaf to hear, or shalt thou guide the blind and him who is in manifest error? 40 Even if We take thee away, We shall be sure to exact retribution from them, 41 Or We shall show thee that (accomplished) which We have promised them: for verily We shall prevail over them. 42 Therefore, hold fast to that which is revealed to you, indeed, you are on the Straight Path. 43 It is indeed a Reminder to you and to your nation, and without doubt you shall be questioned. 44 And ask (O Muhammad SAW) those of Our Messengers whom We sent before you: "Did We ever appoint aliha (gods) to be worshipped besides the Most Beneficent (Allah)?" 45
