۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 Then drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
