We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
