The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 A burning fire. 11
