And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 And We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity, 76 and caused his offspring to endure [on earth]; 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 Peace on Noah among all men. 79 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 when he came unto his Lord with a pure heart, 84 and asked his father and his people, "What is that you worship? 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 What then is your opinion of the Lord of the Worlds? 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 And he said: verily I am about to be sick. 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 Thereafter they (the people) came to him in haste. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 "When God has created you and what you make?" 96 They said: build for him a building and cast him into the flaming fire. 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 And [Abraham] said: "Verily, I shall [leave this land and] go wherever my Sustainer will guide me!" 99 "My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous." 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 And We called out to him, “O Ibrahim!” 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty victim. 107 and We preserved for him a good name among posterity. 108 Peace be on Ibrahim. 109 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113
