Lo! for those who keep from evil are gardens of bliss with their Lord. 34 What, shall We make those who are submissive like the wrongdoers? 35 What aileth you? How ill ye judge! 36 Or do you have a Book wherein you read 37 surely in it you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or have you received a solemn promise, binding on Us till Resurrection Day, that yours will assuredly be whatever you judge [to be your rightful due]? 39 Ask them, who among them is a guarantor for it? 40 Or have they "partners"? Then let them bring their "partners" if they are truthful! 41 On the Day when the truth shall be laid bare, they will be called upon to prostrate themselves, but they will not be able to do so. 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Quran. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not. 44 I shall grant them some respite, for My plan is powerful. 45 Or is it that thou dost ask them for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 46 Or that the Unseen is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 Be patient thou, then, with thy Lord's judgment, and be thou not like him of the fish, when he cried out while he was in anguish. 48 and who cried (for help) to his Lord, while imprisoned and helpless inside the fish. Had it not been for a favor from his Lord, he would have been left out in the open, deserving blame for his shortcomings. 49 Thus did his Lord choose him and make him of the Company of the Righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 When it is naught else than a Reminder to creation. 52
