Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
