Man says, 'What, when I am dead shall I then be brought forth alive?' 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who deny the truth say to the faithful, "Which of the two sides is better in respect of position and makes a more impressive assembly?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 Allah will increase those who were guided in guidance and things that abide. Good deeds are better in reward with your Lord, and, better in return. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 All that he speaks of will belong to Us, and he will come into Our presence all alone. 80 And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
