But what is the matter with those who deny the truth, that they come hastening towards you 36 in crowds, both on the right and on the left? 37 Does every one of them desire to enter the bountiful Paradise? 38 Never so. We have created them from what they know. 39 So I swear by the Lord of all [the three hundred and sixty (360)] points of sunrise and sunset in the east and the west that surely We are Able 40 Substitute for them better (men) than they; And We are not to be defeated (in Our Plan). 41 Then leave them alone to plunge and play until they encounter that day of theirs which they are promised, 42 The day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal, 43 humbled their eyes, overspreading them abasement. That is the day which they were promised. 44
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
