And (remember) when your Lord said to Moosa, “Go to the unjust people.” 10 The folk of Pharaoh. Will they not ward off (evil)? 11 He said, 'My Lord, I fear they will cry me lies, 12 and my breast will be straitened, and my tongue will not be loosed; so send to Aaron. 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 God said, "Indeed not; go both of you with Our signs, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]. 15 Go, then, to Pharaoh and say to him: 'The Lord of the Universe has sent us 16 Send with us the Children of Isra'il? 17 (Firon) said: Did we not bring you up as a child among us, and you tarried among us for (many) years of your life? 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 Moses replied, "I did that when I was one of the misguided, 20 Then I fled for fear of you. Then my Lord bestowed wisdom and authority on me and made me one of the Messengers. 21 And this is the favour with which you taunt me -- that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 [Moses] said, "The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced." 24 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Do you not hear (what he says)?" 25 He said, 'Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 26 [Pharaoh] exclaimed: "Behold, [this] your 'apostle' who [claims that he] has been sent unto you is mad indeed! 27 Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the east and the west, and all that is between them, if you did but understand!" 28 Fir'awn said: if thou wilt take a god other than me, I shall surely place thee among the prisoners. 29 Moses asked, "What if I were to bring you clear proof (of the existence of God)?" 30 (Pharaoh) said: "Show it then, if thou tellest the truth!" 31 So [Musa (Moses)] threw his stick, and behold, it was a serpent, manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it appeared white to the onlookers. 33
