Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

So I swear by what you see 38 And what you do not see 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he (Muhammad SAW) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allah), 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), proclaim the purity of your Lord, the Greatest. 52

God the Almighty always says the truth.
