۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
