THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
