۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
