What ails the unbelievers, running with outstretched necks 36 On the right and on the left, in groups? 37 Coveteth every man of them, that he shall enter the Garden of Delight? 38 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 the Day when they shall rush from their graves, as if they were hurrying to a raised flag, 43 with their eyes cast down and covered by disgrace; the day about which they were promised. 44
