Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
