The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8
