Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 And (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) say, “My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of all the Merciful. 118
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
