Therefore continue to remind, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer, or a madman. 29 Or do they say: “He is a poet for whom we await an adverse turn of fortune.” 30 Say, "Wait, I too am waiting with you". 31 Do their minds prompt them to say such things, or are they a people immersed in transgression?” 32 Or say they: he hath fabricated it: aye they will not believe. 33 Then let them produce a statement like it, if they should be truthful. 34 Or were they created of themselves? Or are they the creators? 35 Or is it they who created the heavens and the earth? No; the truth is that they lack sure faith. 36 Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Hath He daughters and ye sons? 39 Or is it that [they who reject thy message, O Muhammad, fear lest] thou ask of them a reward, so that they would be burdened with debt [if they should listen to thee]? 40 Or is it that they have access to (the Truths in) the realm beyond sense-perception which they are writing down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Or, do they have a god, other than Allah? Exaltations to Allah above that which they associate! 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from heaven, they would say, 'A massed cloud!' 44 So, leave them until they face their day (of doom) when they will be stunned. 45 when their stratagem shall be of no avail to them, nor shall they be succoured. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment (i.e. the torment in this world and in their graves) before this, but most of them know not. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 36]. 47 And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise. 48 And in the night, give Him glory too, and at the setting of the stars. 49
