Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
