Thus did We deliver the Children of Israel from the humiliating chastisement, 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 And We exalted them over the other people knowingly, 32 And We gave them signs in which lay clear favours. 33 Most surely these do say: 34 "There is nothing beyond our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 So bring our fathers (back), if you are truthful. 36 Are they better than the people of Tubba, and those who had lived before them, whom We destroyed as they were sinners? 37 And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play. 38 We created them not except for just ends: but most of them do not understand. 39 The Day of Final Decision is the appointed time for all; 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 Save him on whom Allah hath mercy. Lo! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 42
