And We have built the heaven with hands (the Divine Power), and it is We Who give the expanse. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
