And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
