Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the racers, panting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
