Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Then as for him whose good deeds are preponderant, these are the successful. 102 but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
