Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 And surely your Lord is the Lord of grace to men, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah]. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
