VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We have removed any resentments which were in their breasts – they are brothers, sitting face to face on thrones. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
