In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ O MAN! 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 but only as an exhortation to all who stand in awe [of God]: 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 The Most Gracious Who, befitting His Majesty, took to the Throne (of control). 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, all that lies between them, and lies below the earth. 6 And if thou speakest the word aloud, then verily He knoweth the secret and the most hidden. 7 Allah - there is no god but He. His are the most excellent names. 8 And has the story of Moses reached you? - 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family: "Hold on! I have just perceived a fire; perhaps I will bring a brand from it for you, or I will find some guidance at the fire about the way to follow." 10 When he came to it, a voice cried, 'Moses, 11 Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 Verily I! I am Allah! no God there is but I; so worship Me, and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives. 15 "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!".. 16 “And what is this in your right hand, O Moosa?” 17 "It's my staff," he answered; "I lean on it, and fell leaves for my goats with it, and I have other uses for it." 18 The Lord said, "Moses, throw it on the ground". 19 He cast it down, and behold! It was a snake, moving quickly. 20 Allah said: take hold of it, and fear not; We shall restore it to its former state. 21 And draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease - another sign, 22 "That We may show you (some) of Our Greater Signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent.' 24
