Whoever reaches old age, We reverse in natural disposition. Do they not have sense (to see)? 68 We did not teach him (to wit, the Messenger) poetry and it does not behove him. This is none but an Admonition, and a Clear Book 69 by which he may warn those who are living and may let the words of God come true against the unbelievers. 70 Do they not see Our handiwork: We created for them cattle which they own? 71 And have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding, some for food? 72 They derive a variety of benefits and drinks from them. Will they, then, not give thanks? 73 And they have taken gods besides Allah that they may be helped. 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 Muhammad, let not their words annoy you. We certainly know whatever they conceal or reveal. 76 Has the human being not considered that We have created him from a drop of fluid. He is openly quarrelsome. 77 And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten? 78 Say: "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life [once again,] seeing that He has full knowledge of every act of creation: 79 He who produces fire for you from green trees and from this you kindle fire." 80 And is it not possible for the One Who created the heavens and the earth to create the likes of them? It is surely possible, why not? And He is the Great Creator, the All Knowing of everything. 81 His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is. 82 So Glorified is He and Exalted above all that they associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things, and to Him you shall be returned. 83
