In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the winds (or angels or the Messengers of Allah) sent forth one after another. 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 To clear or to warn. 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
